This SearchBot overcomes an incompatability bug for MySQL version below 4.1. 

This is the SearchBot that completes your FireBoard installation. With this plug in, your visitors can search your forum from the built in Joomla! search component. No longer will they have to enter your forum are to get the results they are looking for. Many enhancements and fixes have been implemented in this version.

Features Of This SearchBot:

• Choose the section name to be displayed in the results (My Forum / Forum Category)

• Choose the number of search results to return.
• Display forum category matches as well as message matches. You can choose to display the category results before or after the message results or not at all.
• Choose how to handle Bulletin Board Code when found in the search results.

• Support for "All", "Exact, and "Any", word match.
• Full support for ordering including most popular items first.
• Check for new versions of the plug in on the SearchBot configuration screen.

ChordBase SearchBot will allow your users to view matching songs results along with the rest of the normal Joomla search results. This has been developed using ChordBase 0.8-a4 and Joomla! 1.0.13 Stable but may work with other versions.

 

Features include the following:

• Ability to limit search result.
• Choose the category name that will be shown in search results.
• Check For Script Updates in Admin Control Panel.
• Better search control over the previous version of the script.

This uses the same fundemental coding used for the stable JoomlaBoard SearchBot plugin we offer.
