| Description | Finally, a way to search your phpBB forum from your Joomla! search box. This is a real handy plug in that will allow your users to get search results from your forum database when the do a search on your Joomla based website. This plug in is optimized for "Mehdi's phpBB Bridge" but will work as a limited feature searchbot for non-bridged phpBB installations as long as Joomla and phpBB share the same database. This will also work with "Integration Joomla Phpbb2 by Przemo 1.0 RC4" but will return search results as either guest or registered member ONLY! Even Admin will only get registered user level search results. This is the same for non-bridged phpBB installations. Joomla! and phpBB MUST be in the same database for this to work. Once I get over this not being able to read Polish problem I have, I'll add the option to better search the "Integration Joomla Phpbb2 by Przemo 1.0 RC4" bridge. Currently, the installation method required for "Integration Joomla Phpbb2 by Przemo 1.0 RC4" is the real problem. |
