Well, since having the result is the only way I can get any credit for my work, I'm not about to remove the feature because a few people complain about it! I don't see how it is a big deal, it blends seamlessly into your search results and by choosing the when related option, you are probably never going to see the result unless you operate a similar site to Handy PHP. Keep in mind that this isn't some ploy to gain a higher page rank since the search engines don't perform searches on the sites they crawl. You users probably won't even realize that the result isn't just a random result that pops up.

Given the number of hours I have spent developing these SearchBots, I'm guessing that you don't want to pay for a credit free copy. Of course, the license for these Mambots allows for the modification of the script if you want to have a try at removing the credit feature. There are only about 30 lines of code for the credit feature so have at it.

I love it when people complain that the product that they didn't create and of course didn't pay for isn't exactly what they wanted or that it includes some type of credit link to the developer's website.

And as you say, you can alway choose not to use the SearchBot. Feel free to use one of the other SearchBots developed for this component!
