JoomlaBoard SearchBot 1.0 Known Issues. 1 Year, 11 Months ago Karma: 4

 • Resolved! - 11/09/2006 - SearchBot not properly searching the "All Registered" forums. Will fix the problem and post a new file as soon as possible. In the meantime, I'll try and find a work around for the bug and post it here.

Changing all of your forums that are currently set for "All Registered" to "Registered" will resolve this issue. Keep in mind that each user level adopts the permissions of the user level below it in Joomla! so an "Editor" automatically is viewed as "Author" and "Author" is automatically seen as "Registered".

For now, I suggest not using the "All Registered" forum permission with the Mambot.

I will still look into a fix that will allow for the use of the "All Registered" permission setting.

After looking into the bug report, I have been unable to duplicate what I understood the problem to be. What I presume the problem to actually be is the "All Registered" option I already discussed. As far as I can tell, this isn't an actual option but rather a seperator in the drop down menu!

Since I cannot find a bug, and I am able to resolve any issues by using "Registered" instead of "All Registered", I consider the issue resolved.
