its one step closer for me

now if you click on a forum link from search results it doesn't give an error - instead it goes to the forum index page (not the post it was linked to).

We haven't got any unusual authorisation settings I'm aware of and just about all our users are in the registered users category

i tried all "Authorization Type" settings and only the last one none gives search results from forum for guest but that isnt an option since there are restricted access forums.

unlogged user does search and only joomla article hits are returned but when user logs in forum hits are shown right away.

problem might be just in showing the results from forum.

Well, of course it doesn't work!

It turns out the when I performed a bug fix a few days ago during testing, I changed too many variable names. The url that you were seeing was pointing to the forum id as the topic id so it obviously wasn't working especially if the forum for that id didn't exist.

Anyhow, I fixed that problem.

SMF SearchBot 1.0.3 BETA has now been released!

You can find it here.

Man, I hope I get this thing working soon or I'll run out of version numbers before leaving BETA!

If this doesn't fix everyone's problems, please provide a link to your website so I might be able to seee things from your point of view!

Fantastic! Thought I'd never get this thing going, now if I have fixed jarri's problem, I think I can move out of beta!

Perhapes you might stop by at Joomla! Extensions and write a review of the Mambot and maybe even vote on it.

Anyhow, thanks for your patience and input in the developement of this extension.
