I posted a topic at joomla.org forum for some help regarding search results with multipages.. and I got a tip to visit this site. So I assume this is the place where to ask about search related material

Hereīs the thing. I have a page that has multipage (about 12 pagebreakes). Joomlas default search bot can find any word in any page of the multipage, but it will only link to the first page. It seems as if the mambot doesnīt understand there is a pagebreak so it interpret it as just one long page.

So I wonder if this requires a new search bot to be develeloped or if only some modification will do the trick to the original search bot, in order for it to understand the pagebreaks and will link to the correct page.

I understand what you mean. It would be nice if the search result linked to the correct page of an article. I could look into it for you but it would require an extensive rewrite of the default Joomla content SearchBots.

I'm afraid I don't have the time right now as I am backlogged on projest already but when I get a chance, I'll see what I can do.

I was also was affraid that a simple modification will not be enough.
